WEB Mills was born on 18 April 1946 in Marylebone London to British actor Sir John Mills and actress Mary Hayley Bell. She was 12 when she was cast by Walt Disney to star in the title role of 'Pollyanna'. The film was a huge success, and Mills became a star overnight.
She went on to star in a number of other Disney films, including 'The Parent Trap' (1961) and 'That Darn Cat!' (1965). In the 1970s, she transitioned to more adult roles, appearing in films such as 'Murder by Death' (1976) and 'The Trouble with Angels' (1966).
In recent years, Mills has written several books about her life and career. Her memoir, 'Forever Young', was published in 2019. She continues to act occasionally, and she is also a popular speaker on the lecture circuit.
