Quarterly Portfolio Day for School Year 2023-2024

The Schools Division Offices and schools may adopt any of the following options in the conduct of the 1st and 4th quarterly portfolio days for School Year 2023-2024:
Option 1: Face-to-Face Portfolio Day
This option is recommended for schools that have the capacity to accommodate parents and guardians in their school facilities while observing health and safety protocols.
Option 2: Hybrid Portfolio Day
This option combines face-to-face and online interaction. Parents and guardians who cannot attend the face-to-face portfolio day may opt to view their child's portfolio online through a virtual platform provided by the school.
Option 3: Online Portfolio Day
This option is recommended for schools that are not yet allowed to conduct face-to-face interactions due to local health and safety regulations. Parents and guardians will be provided with access to an online platform where they can view their child's portfolio and communicate with teachers.
The specific arrangements for the conduct of the portfolio day will be determined by the school principal in consultation with the teachers and parents. Schools are encouraged to develop a plan that is appropriate to their context and that ensures the safety of all participants.
The portfolio day is an important opportunity for parents and guardians to review their child's progress and provide feedback to teachers. Schools are encouraged to make every effort to ensure that all parents and guardians have the opportunity to participate in the portfolio day.
